Freelancing means completing tasks and jobs available in the free market around the net for any given amount (no fixed amount) from just about any niche. This is the most fluid way to make money (less money, but still). You can make quite of a generous amount of money doing these jobs.
Alot of successful people today came up as freelancers, freelancing provides you with a stream of income although its really unstable and sometimes it might even get hard to earn even a little but at least its something to start with.

- Design - Logos, Banners, Templates, etc..
- Development - Coding,Scripts, Mantainance, etc..
- Tasks - Bookmarking, Promoting, Word to mouth, etc..
The quickest way to hit the ground running is to offer content creation services and bookmarking/directory submission services, these have the biggest market which is looking for fast/quality work for cheap. The cheaper your rates are the more business you will get, and this way you can have some cash in hand and a reputation.
